This seminar will expose attendees to a variety of online methods for outreach. We will be discussing how to effectively use your church’s web site for promotion. We will also discuss using a content management system, email, blogging, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, iTunes and Moodle. Topics will include how to get your sermons online, online prayer requests, how to do online bible studies, and other tools for online outreach. After the seminar you will have some tools that you can use, regardless of your technical skills, to help your church reach a new & different demographic. Goals:
- Educate attendees on online tools for outreach.
- Get attendees comfortable with seeing outreach as a marketing effort.
- Helping attendees find resources to assist them in supporting their online outreach efforts.
- Getting attendees comfortable with the idea that outreach and evangelism isn’t just about getting bodies in the door, but it’s about the idea of getting people to know Christ.
